After the big success in Great Britain, the Terra Cotta Exhibit is travelling to USA.

In November 16, 2008 it has opened its doors at the High Museum of Art, Atlanta. 90,000 tickets has been sold already. The Army exhibit will continue until April 19, 2009.

Meanwhile a similar exhibition but under a different name - Terra Cotta Warriors - Guardians of China's First Emperor - is visiting USA too. The first stop was at the Bowers Museum. The exhibit took place from May 18 to October 12, 2008.

At the moment there is a short break in the terra cotta exhibit schedule. The next leg of the grand tour will start on May 18 2009 at Houston Museum of Natural Science in Texas and will continue until October 16.

The third and the last part of the terra cotta Warriors Exhibit - at National Geographic Museum in Washington D C - will start on November 19, 2009 and continue until March 31, 2010. If you are interested in Terra Cotta Warriors Exhibit tickets, click here. Tickets are not on sale yet. It is estimated that exhibit tickets will cost around $12.

Terra Cotta Warriors figures displayed at the aforementioned museums are real figures excavated at Xian, China. However, from the 100 artefacts on display, only 15 are life size terra cotta warriors.

Both Terra Cotta Army exhibitions are extremely popular and are likely to break all the records. It is nice to know that history is still peoples' favourite subject.
